Setting up an LDAP server

Hi everyone! I've finnaly realise to set up the LDAP server in order to share the e-mail addresses. :D But I still have few problems: I don't know how to set the "suffix" value and also the mapping between NetInfo and LDAP database structures. I think this is the reason for which the search takes a lot of time. Can, please, anyone help me with an explanation or with a documentation? Thanks Cami
