Server Admin – Application Server Indicator Grayed Out

For about the last 3 weeks my radio button in front of Application Server under Server Admin has been grayed out. Normally there are 3 colors a button can be green, clear and red. This is definitely gray. In addition, the settings tab is gone (only have overview and logs) and I am unable to click the start button for Application Server. I have never run Application Server, but did attempt to install the Riverdeep Learning Management System 4 onto the server. I thought it went ok, but did not start the program at that time. I didn't notice the gray button until about a week later. (Can't say I was looking for it though.) Nothing in the jboss log since I never turned Application Server on. I just have Not available behind each listing for the Overview tab. I will be deleting/unistalling the Riverdeep program, but that won't fix server admin. Any ideas for the new year? Xserve g4 dual 1Ghz 1 GB running 10.4.7.
