saslauthd not starting during startup.

Hi all, Just wondering if someone can offer some help here? I have upgraded a 10.3.9 server to 10.4.3 now that thew filters work and the problem is that saslauthd is not starting on reboot. It will start with the command /usr/local/saslauthd -a PAM so all is there and when this is run it works ok. I have looked at the watcdog.conf file and it has the line saslauthd:respawn:/usr/local/saslauthd -a PAM # saslauthd for use with sieve in it. Please help me. Thanks in advance Gary.
