"Simple" Folder Migration from one drive to another…

Hey All,
Just had the Tiger Server update from Hell - who know a perfect OD and KDC System could get so completely bodged in under an hour. At any rate, I had to recreate my users via Passenger from their User Home Drive Folders on our Home Drive. I need to move these Folders from their original drive to a more spacious drive, and I'm looking for the "best" way (as in, the way that causes the fewest problems). I have been copying the original folders to the new Homedrive folder (that has all the sharing and automount permissions set), and then using Passenger's Batch Permissions program to try and redo everybody's permissions. Most work, but I'm having a certain recurring problem where a user will log in with NO home drive, and the message that you "Cannot view folder 99 because you don't have enough permissions (paraphrasing)." It's always a folder called 99, and I can't actually FIND this folder in their Home Folder... This happens, apparently, for no good reason. I can't figure out what's causing it for only a couple of users.
My question - is there an easier/more reliable way of doing this? I appreciate any help. Thanks!
