Postfix mods and 10.3 Server Admin tool?

I've been reading the article on using SpamAssassin with Postfix on 10.3. https://www.afp548.com/Articles/mail/postfix-sa.html My one question.... Do any Postfix configs get wiped out if I use the 10.3 Server Admin application afterwards? This article, though it mentions use with 10.3, seems to assume that one is installing Postfix. Which is not the case with 10.3. What are the side effects if one is trying to stay "under the tent" with Apple admin tools and such. This issue is why I never could use previous Exim solutions. I have some non-unix admins that only want to use Apple's tools.
