I'd like to use portable home directories for my laptop users, but not my desktop users (who'll just use networked home dirs). The problem I'm having is with users who have a laptop and a desktop machine. I'd like them to log into the desktop with a network home dir and a PHD on the laptop.
If I log into the desktop machine and choose 'Never' when it asks to create a PHD, it refuses to remember. It asks every time I log in. Is it busted or am I doing something stupid?
In WGM, I have the Synchronization Tab under mobility set to Always. Is there, instead, a way to do it only once? Or should I just toggle it on and then off again when I set up a laptop?
