OSX Server set up as a DHCP/gateway?

Hello, I am trying to set up my OS X server (10.2.8) as a gateway. I have read the article on the dual ethernet configuration and the IP forwarding. I followed all of the instructions, and I am basically up to the point of placing the IPFW items into a new directory in Startup items. When I go further, I have problems exiting out of pico to continue. I am very new to BSD/unix and could definitely use a little help. Thank you very much! Best Regards, Jameson
