OpenDirectory + Solaris 10 = major league hair-pullage

Howdy all, I'm having a devil of a time getting Solaris 10 hosts set up to tie to our existing OpenDirectory setup. Does anyone have any experience tying the two together? Additionally, we'd really like to keep our NIS setup in place for a bit, as we're far more comfortable with it than with LDAP at the moment. What we really want to do is have Solaris clients get user and group info from the OD master and the rest (auto.*, netgroup, hosts, etc.) from our existing NIS infrastructure. Help is desperately needed and would be most appreciated. Thanks!
