For the windows Xp the answer is simple, geting an access denied for net time /domain /set /yes, cause the user doesnt have the access to change time, even tough I could when i authenticated to the win2k3 server.
On the mini my system log shows no errors for a cat /var/log/system.log|grep ntp . Now on the xserve i get the following errors.
Mar 9 08:58:11 xserve ntpdate[116]: the NTP socket is in use, exiting Mar 9 08:58:11 xserve ntpd[267]: bind() fd 5, family 2, port 123, addr 0.0.0.0, in_classd=0 flags=1 fails: Address already in use Mar 9 08:58:11 xserve ntpd[267]: bind() fd 5, family 2, port 123, addr 127.0.0.1, in_classd=0 flags=0 fails: Address already in use Mar 9 08:58:11 xserve ntpd[267]: bind() fd 5, family 2, port 123, addr 172.16.50.111, in_classd=0 flags=1 fails: Address already in use Mar 9 08:58:20 xserve ntpd[267]: sendto(17.254.0.28): Bad file descriptor
Right now, my osx server show 9:37, my mini 9:28 and my winxp 9:29 heh
Any tips or more info i should provide ?
Its a 10.4.4 btw.
