New (but really trying to learn) AD and Login Scripts

Hi I would like to write a login hook, which would create the documents folder on the network home. Then set a flag so that it does not get recreated the next time. That user logs in. I would like to do this so users, logging in through AD do not get the question mark in the dock where the documents folder is. I do not have the use of a Mac server so no golden triangle setup. I have read the "leveraging active direcroty on Mac OS x" which has been a great help, but I'm not sure how to write the scirpt. So if anyone can be kind enough to point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Thank you Dan
