Moving OD Mounted Home Directories

I have some users that are relocating to a remote site. At that location there is an OD replica server. I also copied the users' home directory to that server. Finally I changed the users' home directory in WGM to point to the correct location. The problem is that in spite of WGM telling me the home directories are in the correct location, when the user logs in, OD still mounts the home directory from the master which is where it was before the move. What else do I need to do to get the home directories pointed to the correct server? TIA.
