Mount network share to use with sharepoints

I have a network share that hosts all the users folders/files currently, it is on a win2k8 server. I want to know if it is possible to just mount this network drive to my xServe server and use that mounted drive as my DirHost? This way I can use this to point my apple computers to use for each users home folder. Basically I am trying to avoid having to move all of my current user folders to a new server setup since they already exist in the "windows world" Thanks
