Logic Pro on Xsan

Hi all, I can't seem to find any information on the possibility of Logic Pro running firect from an Xsan. My initial instinct was it couldn't be done due to latency and first file open locks etc. The lack of googled info on the topic seems to confim that. Anyone know for sure? To clarify, just want to know if it is possible to run a Logic Pro recording session on an Xsan. Cheers
