Leopard AutoFS, NIS (YP) integration

I am hoping someone out there will help shed some light on the correct way to get Leopard (The latest seed 3/2/07) to bind to a NIS server and also get AutoFS to read NIS maps. I have done the basic things which whould enable this to work:: 1. Add NIS domain into NIS services in Directory Services 2. double check items in /etc/hostconfig 3. reboot result:: ypbind not working no NIS resolution no NIS authentication Any help would be greatly appreciated.
