Is it easy to see which user is performing a copy operation to/from a SharePoint?

Hi, as per subject, is it possible to see which of any connected users is currently performing a copy operation to/from a SharePoint? Server is OS X Server 10.4.9 Clients are generally 10.4.9,10.4.10 XRAID on which the SharePoints are stored has 1.14TB across 6 drives in RAID 5. Reason I ask is that occasionally we see the XRAID host channel max out (going by the activity indicators on the front) when someone kicks of a large copy operation, which brings things to a halt for everyone else.
