InstaUp2Date and InstaDMG for dummies

I have successfully used InstaDMG to create a base, untouched image and then patched using the Combo update. Inorder to do this I put the combo updater into the BaseUpdates folder, inside of a folder numbered "01". So far with the newest version of InstaDMG I have been unable to apply the update using the same workflow. I have have created a 10.6 image with the proper InstallerChoices.xml items I want, but can't get the update. So here is what I have: 10.6 Base image "Mac OS X Install DVD.dmg" placed in the "BaseOS" directory InstallerChoices.xml placed in the "BaseOS" Directory "MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.3.pkg" in a directory labeled "01" inside the "BaseUpdates" Directory --This workflow will produce an image with the choice I want applied but NOT the OS Update. I want a 10.6.3 untouched image with my Installerchoices applied. Some one has pointed me to InstaUp2Date but I am have a VERY hard time figuring that out. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
