Installing iLife using Restore DVD from another computer

Hello everyone. I found this site and these forums via Google. I've been trying to figure out how to use my Mac Mini's Restore DVD to install iLife09 on my MacBook. In doing a search, a forum post related to InstaDMG came up and that's how I ended up here... Can anyone point me in the right direction? I purchased a Mini recently to use as my home media server. I won't be running iLife on the Mini, so I thought I'd install it on my MacBook. When I try to do so, however, I get an error. I've tried extracting the individual packages and installing that way as well. No luck. Although some of the InstaDMG stuff was over my head, it sounds like what I'm hoping to do is possible. I just need a little guidance. Thank in advance! -Rob
