HowTo Request: LDAP Auth + Local Home

First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Goal: to setup our 10.5 machines to authenticate against edirectory, but use local home directories. Our LDAP source is a Novell eDirectory, and I can get the authentication to work and am presented with a desktop, but I receive a message stating that the home is not in the usual place and cannot be accessed. In LDAP config, I have mapped the "homedirectory" attribute to #/Users/$USERNAME$ Where have I gone wrong here? Thanks in advance, Tom
