Hiding or disabling the Groups, Public and Users shares

I remember reading about how to disable or hide the Groups, Public and Users shares, but can't find where I read it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I only want my "administratrion, backup and clients" shares visible to my users. Is that even possible?
