Guest Account

Greetings!!! In the past our school has used a guest account for our public access labs. We made a guest account by using a standard user account with a home directory refresh login hook. This has worked great. I know that Leopard contains a guest account and wonder if it's doing the same thing behind the scenes. I would like to try to leverage it, but have one other problem: Our account has always had the login info: ourschoolname / genericpassword as requested by our system administrators. This is now what all the users are used to so I'd like to try to stick with that. So long story short: -Can I alter the login information on the Leopard guest account? -Can I make a user template for the Leopard guest account or does it use User Template? -Is there a disadvantage using this compared to a login hook with refresh script? thanks for any great ideas!!!
