Easy VM monitoring?

I strongly suspect that something I'm running has a nasty memory leak. The most likely candidates are Safari (I'm running 3.0 beta, but I also suspected Safari 2 in this regard) and Firefox. Can anyone suggest an easy way to monitor Virtual Memory usage for running apps? Something like "top -o virtual-memory-size" is what I'm looking for. thanks in advance, as always. dave
