DNS weirdness – where is a good place to read about this?

Hi all, My Mac OS X Server seems to be acting up - although I can connect to drives on the network I can't ping anything from anywhere.The trouble is, I don't understand the named.log on my server, so I don't really know how to grasp this problem. I see things like below (I've put an excerpt from the log at the bottom of my post - I've tried to cut out most of the repetitive stuff). Particularly I am getting a *lot* of these "received control channel command 'null'" entries (I'm always troubled by nulls). Anyway, can anyone point me at some *accessible* documentation on DNS on Mac OS X Server?
