DNS advice needed!

Could someone please give me a few pointers? I am completely new to setting up DNS, and have been getting a little confused... I am running an intranet in a small office environment (approx. 15 clients computers). The intranet is running off a W2K server (let's say 192.168.0.20), and I have an OS X server which handles file sharing (192.168.0.30). I have a number of different sites running on the W2K server, and at present I configure each DNS entry manually in NetInfo on each Mac client. This is getting more and more impractical. Would setting up DNS on the OS X Server be my best bet? Or is there an intermediate option that would save time but not get too complicated (such as a centralised list of settings I could import to each client)? Note that all the addresses I'd set up would be for internal use only.
