DHCP client list doesn’t show VPN users & ARD through VPN no longer sees local clients – 10.5.4

Hello, When I had Tiger 10.4.11 running, it would usually list every DHCP client on the system inside the server manager / DHCP client list. It would Include those machines outside in the VPN subnet range as well. Now that we are running Leopard Server 10.5.4, the VPN subnet range no longer appears in the DHCP client list in the server manager. I can no longer see any of the connected VPN clients when I ARD in (not through the VPN connection). Thus; DHCP range; 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.2.147 - subnet- 255.255.255.0 VPN range; 192.168.2.148 - 192.168.2.255 I noticed I had to change the DHCP client id on each machine and the printer machine name to get them to show up in the DHCP client list of the new install. Even if I modify the DHCP client ID on the VPN users machines and change the machine names, I still can't get anything to show up. Does the DHCP client list no longer list the VPN users? Now I noticed another problem. When I connect to the server through the VPN, ARD can no longer see the local clients and only the VPN users. This was never a problem with our Tiger server. Do I have to define the VPN range as a separate DHCP range inside the DHCP settings? Interesting that the VPN users can still connect to the server shares with no problems and a local Daylite database we have running. Any suggestions? Thanks much! C Thanks! ATF
