/dev/? Where is my tape drive?

Hello, I'm trying to figure out which /dev file my external scsi tape drive is connected I have been having a bit of trouble getting my external tape drive to work with retrospect in os x server 10.2. I have an adaptec 29160N card (now supported with driver 1.2) Its connected to an external HP Dat40 dds-4 Retrospect cannot see the device. Apple System Profiler [b:37b13e3fc0]can[/b:37b13e3fc0] see it at SCSI ID 3, Lun 0 When I do: [code:1:37b13e3fc0]tar -c <folder to be archived>[/code:1:37b13e3fc0] I get : [code:1:37b13e3fc0]tar: Failed open to read on /dev/nrst0 <No such file or directory>[/code:1:37b13e3fc0] Which makes sense, given there isn't a /dev/nrst* Any idea what /dev my tape drive is connected to, or better yet...any SCSI tool which can test the /dev 's and see if they are working?
