Ever since the March security update my mail has been crashing. Server admin for mail reports unable to locate path. I have have rebuilt the db using Apple's article on the web (both the March 31 and April 18 update). Upgraded to 10.3.9 but no help. Apple xserve tech and I would get it running but then it would crash the next day. I got bumped up to enterprise and we modified a perl script for imap. It stayed up longer 18 hours but crashed again. After the server loses the path, the processor lights run at 100%.
Their thought is a piece of mail is corrupt and it keeps corrupting the db. Is that possible? Their recommendation is to totally delete the mailboxes and start fresh. AKA everyone loses everything. I would like to download the users mail, delete the mailboxes, then upload the mail that I saved. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!
