cyradm cannot authenticate

I am a bit consufed to say the least. I thought cryadm was packaged with panther server (at least the command exists). But, as I found out, it doesn't work out of the box. So MacTroll was kind enough to point me to his install package and now cryadm does run but I get the error: Cannot authenticate to server with as userid It appears to me this error not bad english but rather there is a name (server name?) missing between 'with' and 'as'. The command I used was: cryadm --user userid --server localhost What am doing wrong? TIA.
