can’t log into Netinfo?

(OSX Server 10.2.4) For some reason, I can't authenticate against my root domain in Netinfo. I have 3 users set up who have priveleges to manage the domain, yet Netinfo just returns incorrect username or password. Does anyone have any ideas?
