BootP server problems. Laptops see network but not internet?

Have recently tried to connect 2 laptops to a BootP network. They connect to the network ok, Seeing other macs etc. but it won't pick up the internet connection. All settings are the same as the other laptops & desktop macs but I just can't get these new Titanium laptops work. Any ideas any one?
