OSX Server 10.3 (.0) 10.3 iMacs as clients.
On all clients (bar a new eMac, which behaves just fine), when I launch Keynote or Appleworks, both programs quit when I go to create a new document. This only happens in one login group (teachers) whereas both apps work perfectly in my other group (students). Works fine logged in as admin too.
I do notice that I can't open Printer Setup Utility in the 'teachers' accounts; iMac locks up altogether, won't even force quit. PSU runs fine in 'students' group.
I guess these apps may be doing a page setup check when you chose to create a new document... other builtin apps are fine, IE and Safari and so on.
