An iTunes Server anyone?

How difficult would it be to get some sort of iTunes server process setup and running? I'm running out of space for a large collection that's on my laptop. And I have everything from my laptop plus some stuff i wasn't listening to on a drive on my server. (It's up and running again finally) At one point I had a user set to log in automatically and launch iTunes... I really don't like that, my server isn't in a high traffic area, but still. So what could be done other than plain afp, to share these to my network? Can it be tied into the iTunes Rendezvous sharing? How difficult would it be to configure? I'm still learning my way around the command line without hurting myself...
