AFP stopped in server admin but working fine.

Hello All, I am working in a school on an 2GHz G5 Xserve running 10.4.6. During the upgrade to 10.4.6 I had to stop sharing all of my sharepoints and reestablish them. Now i am running into an issue where the server admin app says that AFP is stopped. However I (and all of my users) can still log in at this time. I am happy the service is working but I need SA to report the correct status. The logs are'nt capturing anything either. Any one else running into this???
