AD/OD Folder Creation Error

hi, we have the following setup: all users are on our AD server, all Mac clients have their home folders on OD machines. creation of a new account followed this procedure: create the account in AD, assign the Home folder to the xserver machine, tp. \\odserver.domain.edu\students\newuser, close the AD user properties dialog and the AD would create a folder named "newuser" within the "students" folder of the odserver. it would also set the mac Owner & Permissions to Owner=newuser. i then use a script to propagate the correct folders within the home folder, ie. Library, Documents, etc. this system has worked for the past several years. now for what's wrong: for some biazzaro reason when the new home folder is being created with the correct name, eg. "newuser", but, Owner is being set to "Admin" instead of "newuser". now when the user logs in, they don't have permission to open their folder folders, Docs/Lib/etc. because the Owner is set to Admin on them. does anyone have an idea on why the Ownership & Permissions are not being set correctly? i'm lost... thanks for any replies. -md
