Adobe Reader with OD and Network Homes
Hi,
I've got a problem and can't working out a solution.
I got a 10.5.5 OS X Server running as an OD and the User homes are stored on that server. The client machines (10.5.5) have only the system wich also incluedes some additional applications. Everthing runs well, besides I got a problem with the latest Adobe Reader.
When I'm logged in with the local client admin account (not yet passworded cuz I'm configuring), I'm able to start Adobe Reader and accept the License Agreement and negotiate Adobe Reader as plug-in for Safari and as standard application to open PDFs (the "I-am-so-important-dialogs"). Then Adobe Reader starts without a problem.
When I do the same with a user stored at the OD, I can follow the dialogs and either accepting or negotioating didn't work, Adobe Reader quits unexpected or I just got that damn BBD (Beachball of Death) and I have to force quit.
Nevertheless I have to enter the admin name and passwort to dialog, it isn't working out, so I am guessing this might be permission problem, but can't figure out, where to point my finger.
Even a reinstall of Adobe Reader (as I expected) didn't help anything.
Thanks for help.
