AD authenticates but dumps you in to Darwin

Hi, Thanks for the great AD integration article... best thing I've seen yet... I've just got one question... how do you put static values in the Directory Access for the UniqueID and group... All I get at the mo is dumped into the black Darwin screen... From what I can gather it's down to these values not being supplied by the AD system and to save our AD guy some work I was hoping to just pop in a static value.. After that it's down to NetInfo and my OSX AD supplied server doing the home thing... Ta for any help...
