10.6.8 and MRT process

Hi, I've just created a 10.6.8 build from a retail DVD and 10.6.8 combo updater. The MRT process is running on first boot and running at 100% for a second and logging "com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.mrt[97912]) Exited with exit code: 4" every 8 or 9 secs. Has anyone seen or successfully built an image where the MRT successfully removes it self? thanx
