10.6 SU Server not getting full catalogue from Apple
Am using OS X Server 10.6 SUS and the list of Updates available from Apple is never complete. As a result, the Mac clients are missing a large number of Updates. I've reset the SUS database and logs, restarted the service and still the list newly downloaded list is incomplete.
The SUS log has lots of entries:
: disable request received for unknown product (xxx-xxxx)
The Log usually looks like this after a Sync:
Fri Mar 19 12:13:39 marowak.its.uow.edu.au swupd_syncd[15881] : ========== Sync Started ==========
Fri Mar 19 12:14:22 marowak.its.uow.edu.au swupd_syncd[15881] : Auto-copy (ALL) option selected. Applying setting to products.
Fri Mar 19 12:14:32 marowak.its.uow.edu.au swupd_syncd[15881] : Auto-copy (ALL) option selected. Applying setting to products.
Fri Mar 19 12:14:46 marowak.its.uow.edu.au swupd_syncd[15881] : Auto-copy (ALL) option selected. Applying setting to products.
Fri Mar 19 12:14:46 marowak.its.uow.edu.au swupd_syncd[15881] : Cannot process catalog item for product 061-7871 due to missing/malformed data.
Fri Mar 19 12:14:47 marowak.its.uow.edu.au swupd_syncd[15881] : Sync Complete
Anyone else having similar problems with 10.6 SUS? 10.5 SUS was working fine for us.
