10.4.5 seems to have broken ‘sudo’ and ‘su’

We upgraded our OD servers to 10.4.5 over the weekend. It appears that this update has broken 'sudo' and 'su' for users other then 'root' and 'admin'. When I 'sudo' to an LDAP user it replies with 'no password entry for user'. Users can log on from their clients with no problem. I have a host of scripts that depend on 'su' and they are all broken. Can someone shed some light on this? TIA.
