Does anyone else have the following problem or a solution to the following problem?
HP printers : LaserJet 2100, 2200, color 4600
Clients and server 10.4.1 all installed from scratch. server G5 DP 2.3, clents a range of aging g3s and g4s.
Using FileMaker, when printing to shared queues on server or directly from client to printer we are periodically getting printouts with nonsense text replacing some but not all of the text showing on the screen. At other times all printouts come out as expected. This never happened when all machines were running various versions of 10.3 and the only change we have made is from 10.3.9 to 10.4.1, no application or other software or hardware changes.
I figured that possibly there was a problem with Server to Client encryption in FileMaker...turned it off...no change in problem.
Neither FileMaker nor HP seem to have anything like this in their support areas from the searches I have done.
This is not the same as the ASCII selection issue which is pertinent to Photoshop. The key here is that not all of the text comes out garbled.
