The MacEnterprise.org group will be presenting a Webcast on iPods in Education on Tuesday, April 26 at 1:00 pm EDT. Representatives from two higher education institutions will each present on their own innovative and highly regarded iPod integrations.
Jim Wolfgang, CIO at Georgia College & State University, will present an overview of GCSU’s iPod program and future goals. He will be joined by many others from the school who will present on their experiences in learning and teaching with iPods and more recently, the iPod Photo. Deployment and support issues will also be discussed.
Debrah Suggs, a systems administrator in the Office of IT at Duke University, will be discussing the iPod First-Year Experience at Duke University and the solutions her department had to implement to support the iPod users on campus. OIT had to provide a solution for iPod users without Macintosh or Windows computers and develop a web application for class audio content exchanges.
