VaporSec
VaporSec an IPSec GUI client that will allow you to create incredibly secure connections between Mac OS X 10.2 machines—or between your machine and third party firewalls using the built-in IPSec capabilities of Mac OS X 10.2. VaporSec has currently been tested between Mac OS X 10.2 machines and with a SonicWall firewall. We’re actively looking for situations where this doesn’t work so that we can tweak the code. We are also looking for people interested in helping us make this better.
We have made some pretty good improvements with this latest version of the software. Joel has personally tested it against numerous SonicWalls and a Linksys BEFVP41. VaporSec should work with many of the IPSec devices out there, please let us know if it did or didn’t work for you so we can let others know or fix it so that it will work.
