InstaDMG 1.4b4 Release
It's been a while since the dramatic overhaul of the last release and this one is far less crazy. Rather it's the result of the steady progress made by the InstaDMG dev team.Major points of change:
- The numbered folders can now also be disk images.
- Base OS cache files are now excluded from Time Machine backups.
- Kext caches are purged form the ASR image.
- instaUser has been replaced with createUser. (Apparently I forgot to put createUser in. It's in our donloads section though!)
- Lots of changes to the instaUp2Date addon.
Also I'm putting out a general call for people to test on Tiger and PPC. The dev team is very focused on Leopard deployments and on Intel Macs. If you can test Tiger or PPC (Tiger or Leopard) please do and let us know what you find!
