I'm appreciative to Ian, but disappointed this is what Apple calls enterprise
support.

This is more on the line of a question.

Is there a way to test this patch before March 11th to determine functionality with time sensitive applications?

When we applied this patch to a Panther machine and set the clock forward to March 11, the clock fell back one hour instead of springing ahead at 2 AM. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Has anyone tried to patch a server (Jag or Panther)?
I'm debating just manually changing the clock rather than risk mucking with the server.

I am not sure how to work the changes on a 10.2 machine (I have two of them that can't be upgraded due to software issues). Can anyone walk me through?

I am sorry if this has been answered or is obvious, but I don't know where the source is. In order to deploy this to 10.2 systems, I grabbed Jeremy's script to build from source.
But I don't know where to get the source for Ian's 10.3 patch.

Thanks for any info!

Just tried to run patch-jaguartz.sh on our old Jaguar Server, and it fails (Error 19) when attempting to download tzdata at

It looks like tzdata.tar.gz is no longer available at ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/

However, there are some files that look like they were added late in feb, including one called

tzdata2007c.tar.gz

Is this an updated version of the tzdata file the patch-jaguartz.sh is attempting to download? Any possibility of an updated script for Jaguar users like me?

Thanks!
What about Mac OS 9?

Many people still have old Mac OS 9 hardware running, does anyone know of a way to apply this patch for them? I am particularly concerned about those users with SCSI backup systems still running Mac OS 9 and Retrospect 5.1.
